Admissions Philosophy
It has been my experience in 15 years as a Manhattan nursery school director and 14 as an admissions consultant that families who follow basic guidelines receive offers of admission for their children in schools they like.
Independent preschool and ongoing school admissions can be intimidating for parents. You may be concerned about how you will deal with it. It is time consuming and can be a source of anxiety.
I will share my experience and expertise to walk you through this process. I will empower you to identify and articulate your wishes for your child, and to place your child in the school that best supports your vision. I will explain the "education speak" that appears on many school websites, including the basic philosophies of education.
Together, we will start your child on the wonderful adventure of learning, and you on the exciting adventure of guiding your child's education.
